Jerome Feldman has been teaching full-time in postsecondary education since 1980. He has worked in a broad range of instructional settings, including two and four-year colleges and universities, adult education programs and private career colleges.

In addition, Jerome develops and conducts professional development workshops based on leading-edge learning research and educational scholarship. These workshops are designed to help aspiring, new and experienced teachers, as well as faculty developers and administrators, successfully apply the best of what we know about good teaching and what it takes to consistently improve student learning. He also writes staff development newsletters on these same topics.

He has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana and a M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Southern California, with additional studies in counseling psychology and journalism.

Doug McPhee has worked in education and education settings for over 35 years. His work at all levels of schooling has provided him with a broad understanding of how we learn and what instructors at any level need to know and do to be more effective.

He has served as an administrator, educator, and instructor at institutions ranging from elementary schools to major universities and international learning programs. McPhee also worked as a resource consultant for the Ken Blanchard Companies with major corporations.

Doug offers clients highly skilled facilitation and manages every group with purpose. He creates powerful learning environments that improve participation and learning. He appreciates the value of participant interaction and designs programs to build on the “knowledge in the room.
